Our Family Of Wines

Yellow & green straw colour. Full flavoured displaying stone fruit characters along with some melon and apricot notes. Wonderful length and well-balanced acid and fruit weight are complimented by subtle notes of oak.
Select parcels of fruit were sourced from premium vineyards across Victoria’s premium viticultural sub regions. The fruit was picked during the cool early hours of the morning. The fruit was then rapidly transported to the winery and immediately crushed, chilled and pressed. It is then allowed to settle before being racked off of juice lees, warmed and inoculated with selected dried wine yeasts. Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks of various sizes at 12-18 degrees. 30% of the wine was fermented in French oak barrels to add a touch of complexity and texture to the wine. The finished parcels are carefully assessed, with only the finest chosen for the final blend prior to bottling.

Deep dark black with purple ruby red rim. Opulent nose with berries, olive and sweet spice and subtle earthy undertones. The palate is fleshy with a core of dark berry and blood plum; oak provides a nice side note and velvety tannins and bright acidity give line and structure.
Sourced from a single vineyard in the heart of the Heathcote region nestled between the Goulburn Valley and Bendigo regions. The region is famous for one thing and that is creating Shiraz of a quality and character not seen anywhere else in Australia. North of the Great Dividing Range our vineyard has an elevation of 230 metres and the Mt Camel Range influences the climate and our soil. The soil is Cambrian, which is the major factor in creating our wines characters due to the red and deep soil with fantastic water holding capacity. Hand selected fruit was machine picked and de-stemmed prior to crushing and fermentation occurred on skins. We kept each parcel separate from the four separate picks over a 3 weeks period. We used older oak for a 12 month period to allow the true wine and fruit to prevail and the oak influence is therefore secondary and plays a role but is barely noticeable.

Deep dark purple/black with a red brick edge. Intense rich, ripe Blackcurrant and Mulberry aromas with earthy overtones with a hint of oak. The palate is well balanced between fruit, oak and chalky tannins. The complex spicy, sweet and savoury flavours of the wine combine, and the flavoursome finish is backed by a great acid back bone and tannic structure that will ensure the wine continues to drink well over the medium term.
Sourced from premium vineyards in Grampians sub region of Victoria. The fruit was crushed then underwent cold macerating. Fermented in open top fermenters with regular pump over’s to extract both colour and tannin. Following another week of maceration the dry free run is drained to tank. The skins are then pressed and the pressings transferred to the same tank, the wine is then racked with select parcels going into barrel. The wine is aged in older French oak hogsheads then bottled after 12 months maturation with minimal fining and filtration.

Strawberry red hues. Mouth feel is rich with lovely natural fruit sweetness on the mid palate while maintaining a fresh, clean acid crispness with lingering flavours of sour cherry and grapefruit. On the nose strawberry sweetness and raspberry overtones, it has a floral scent reminiscent of summer days..
Sourced from premium vineyards across Victoria’s premium viticultural sub regions. The fruit was specifically selected for use in a rosé wine by pressing the red grapes as if to make a white wine, minimising the phenolics and retaining the bright clean fruit flavours to ensure a really pure style of wine.
